This special moment in your life is worth documenting and you’re not going to want to miss out on it. When is the best time to book a maternity session?
28-32 weeks is recommended. Baby bumps are the most prominent starting at 28-weeks whereas the timing after the 32-week mark can be quite tricky since the baby can choose to make his or her debut into the world at any given time from that point onward.
What should I expect during my maternity session?
You should expect to feel pampered and beautiful! Mama can borrow a gorgeous dress/gown from my client closet and I highly encourage booking a professional hair and make-up artist to help you prepare for your maternity session. I just want you arriving looking and feeling your best. Leave the rest to me. My job is to capture your maternal glow!
Can my family join my maternity session?
Absolutely! Your immediate family is more than welcome to join your maternity session. While you will remain the main focus I will be sure to capture a variety of sentimental images with your family included.
Where should I have my maternity session?
I have a list of favorite locations in the area that you can select from for your McKinney TX maternity session. When the weather is nice, I love photographing outdoor sessions during golden hour! It adds a beautiful radiant glow to your images. Even on a cloudy day when there’s no glow from the sun’s rays, the outdoor lighting falls very nicely. I also have in-studio options available as an add-on for my clients who prefer the convenience of an on-set dressing room, A/C, and other amenities.
If you have a few location options available in mind, especially one that holds a special meaning to you. I’d be happy to photograph your session there – just as long it’s at a location consistent with my photography style and it’s located within close proximity to Princeton, TX. It’s very important to me that I’m able to produce the imagery that you’re expecting as reflected in my work. Also, at this time I am only servicing locations that are within 25 miles of Princeton, TX.
